If you’re planning to buy a jaw crusher, it’s best to buy it from a manufacturer that offers high-quality equipment. A good manufacturer will offer support for the product you buy, and they will send certified technicians to repair or install it. This will ensure that your investment will be worthwhile.
Cone crushers
When selecting a cone crusher, there are several factors to consider. Firstly, it is important to choose the correct reduction ratio. Typical cone crushers deliver a 4:1, 5:1, or 6:1 reduction ratio. You should also consider the maximum capacity of the machine. Finally, you should determine what type of material the cone crusher is best suited to crush.
Cone crushers are compression-type machines that use a stationary mantle and rotating bowl to crush materials. The material is forced through the crushing chamber by means of a motor that drives a mantle that rotates eccentrically. The material is crushed as it passes through, and the final shape of the crushed material is determined by the gap setting.
Impact crushers
There are many factors to consider when selecting an impact crusher. First, determine the size of the feed material. While the maximum size of blasted rock will be 18-inches to 22-inches, natural gravel is usually 10-inches to 12 inches. Also, pay attention to the inlet opening and the thickness of the blow bars on the rotor. If these factors are in good condition, the impactor will work more efficiently.
Another important factor is the material that will be crushed. You should also consider the type of crusher and how it will be transported. The crusher should be easy to operate and maintain. Also, it should be easy to replace parts like blow bars.
Wear parts
There are many different wear parts on a jaw crusher. These include the jaw plate and side plate. Most manufacturers don’t design their own wear Shredder Parts, so you need to buy replacements from a third party. Fortunately, there is one company in China that has an excellent track record when it comes to manufacturing replacements for most major brands of crushers. They offer replacement jaw plates and side plates for virtually any model of jaw crusher. The company also offers custom castings based on your specifications and drawings.
Toggle plates are simple, carbon steel plates that fit into the jaw frame. These plates are exposed to high abrasions during the material flow and crushing cycle. The lower side plates wear faster than the upper side plates. These plates are made from different materials, and some brands use two different types of materials.
Operation geometry
A jaw crusher’s operation geometry is influenced by its feed particle size. In this simulation, the compressive force of a feed particle is simulated, and the throughput is plotted as a function of the mean particle size. The simulation shows that the forces increase with increasing feed particle size.
Summary:
The simulation was carried out using the CAD software SketchUp. We used this software to model the geometry of the jaw crusher, and we used the manual of Otsuka Iron Works as a basis. In addition, we took direct measurements of the discharge opening and the wear surfaces of the jaws. The results obtained were presented in Table 5.
